- Citizen of the Philippines;
- At least 21 years of age;
- Of good moral character;
- Must produce before the Supreme Court satisfactory evidence of good moral character
- No charges against him or her involving moral turpitude which have been filed or are pending in any court in the Philippines;
- Resident of the Philippines;
- Must have complied with the academic requirements;
- Must pass the Bar examinations;
- Take the lawyer's oath;
- Sign the Roll of Attorneys; and
- Receive a license to practice from the Clerk of Court of the Supreme Court.
